Dear Parent/Guardian,

The Feast of St. Gabriel (29th September)
We celebrated the Feast of St. Gabriel in church this morning.
It was really lovely to have the whole school celebrating Mass with so many family members and parishioners.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who was able to join us and also many thanks to Father Michael who made it such a meaningful service for our children.

Attendance
Our whole school attendance so far this year is 96.1% which is above our target but there is still room to improve!
The days lost have mainly been due to holidays taken in term time. However, as you can see, looking at the breakdown below, there is a lot of learning time being lost to holidays.
Class 1 93.5%    Class 2 100%    Class 3 100%    Class 4 93.3%    Class 5 94.8%     Class 6 90.9%

Changes to Bags – Making our cloakrooms safe as pupil numbers have grown.
Winter coats are coming which will take up more space in our cloakrooms. So that our cloakrooms are safe for all children, please check that your child’s school bags are in line with our policy.
If you have not seen our letter following up the change to bags, please check your child’s bag. Additional letters are available from the school office.
If you have any concerns at all with the changes, please contact the school by phone or text to arrange a time to talk them through with me.
