Dear Parents / Carers,

Dosbarth 1 Assembly

Da iawn to Class 1 for their lovely assembly this morning. It was lovely to have so many parents, governors and members of the parish sharing this with us.

Sharing Godly Play

Another session for sharing Godly Play took place this week in Class 1. It was lovely to receive such positive feedback on the session. Many thanks to those that were able to attend.

Coffee and Catch Up

This is taking place this afternoon. It would be lovely to have as many parents as possible join us to share ideas around St. Gabriel’s Sports Day organisation this year. We are meeting at 2:30pm in school.

National Tests

The national tests have been and gone! Well done to all our pupils in Years 2-6 for smiling through them. There was a change this year with only Reasoning and Reading being undertaken in paper format. Numeracy Procedural will take place online later this term.

Proposal to Change the School Session times

This meeting took place this morning. Feedback regarding the proposal will now be shared and discussed at the next Governing Body meeting.

School Parish Links

Our newly formed Chaplaincy group are going from strength to strength. A group joined parishioners for part of the Monday Club session at St Gabriel’s RC Church and had very positive feedback.

Another group were taken by Mrs Williams to St. Mary’s RC Church, also on Monday afternoon, for the visit of the pilgrim statue of Our Lady of Fatima and relics of the visionaries. They took an active part and were a real credit to our school.
