Estyn
ESTYN inspectors will be visiting our school from Monday 4th March to Thursday 7th March 2019.
The Meeting for Parents / Carers will take place on Monday 4th March 3:45 – 4:45pm. There will be a crèche, run by school staff, for pupils and siblings to enable parents to attend this meeting.
Newport County – Football in the Community
Our link with Newport County in the Community enabled a draw for for a pair of tickets to this weekend’s exciting Newport County Match. Congratulations to Evie E in Class 5! These tickets were delivered as a surprise to Evie when Newport County player Scott Bennett popped into Class 5!
Headlice
One of the school nurses will be coming to visit with parents/carers on Monday 18th February at 8:55am to hold a workshop and provide treatment tips to everyone.
Please book the date in your diary and come along to find out more.
Caffi Cymraeg Event
Next Monday (18th) is our Café Shwmae event. In the afternoon, each class has a slot where you can develop / apply your welsh skills with your child, as you try out some welsh phrases in a social situation.

Coffee and Catch Up – Parent Forum
Following a request to alternate Parent Forum meetings between morning and afternoon sessions to enable more parents to have access depending on work schedules, the meeting for this half term will be on Thursday 21st February at 9am. It’s a great opportunity for school to run ideas past you and for us to get feedback from you. We hope to see you on Thursday.
