Bambinelli Sunday is on Sunday 16th December. This is the 3rd Sunday of Advent and Father Michael asks that from our Cribs / Nativity scenes at home, we bring the baby Jesus to be blessed in church before returning to your homes. This Mass takes place at 10am in St. Gabriel’s Church.
Christmas Performances
Well done to all the children in Classes 1 and 2 for delivering a lovely nativity performance. Through their words, singing and dancing, they have reminded us what our true focus should be upon during this special Christmas time.
Next Tuesday we have our Christmas Service led by the children in Classes 5 and 6, in Church. All are welcome to attend.
As set up last year, please could you ensure that children under 3 don’t accompany adults for the Christmas Service. We trialled this last year and the children found it so much easier to perform confidently and demonstrate all the hard work they had put in, to the best of their ability.
If you are unable to organise child care for those under 3 years old, we can arrange for you to attend our dress rehearsal which is on Monday.
Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you need to attend the dress rehearsal.

Christmas
On the last day of term, we have Christmas Dinner, Class Christmas Party Games in the afternoon and also Christmas presents from ‘The Friends of St. Gabriel’s.’
To make it as festive as possible, pupils (and staff!) can wear non-uniform with a Christmas theme if they wish.
Christmas Dinner
Thank you for all the orders for Christmas Dinner – the last orders have now been placed and the food ordered.
Attendance
Overall our whole school attendance is 96.7%. This is the second week with a high score – Well done St. Gabriel’s – Keep it up!
Top Tip: If you are ill in the morning but feeling better by the afternoon, come into school for the afternoon session which begins at 1:15pm. That way you get an attendance mark for the afternoon.
