Cathedral and Synagogue Trip

Dear Parents,

On Tuesday 11th June, Class 4 will be visiting the Cardiff Reform Synagogue & St David’s Metropolitan Cathedral in Cardiff to further develop understanding of their own faith and that of another faith in line with the Diocesan ‘Come and See’ scheme of work and Cultural Diversity education.

In the afternoon, the children will take part in a creative activity linked to their morning visits. This trip is a fantastic opportunity for children to see inside both these places of worship and gain greater understanding and knowledge.

We will be leaving at 9:00 and arriving back at 15:15. The children are to wear their school uniform. The children will have their lunch and creative activity in the Cornerstone linked to the Cathedral. They will need a packed lunch as they will not be returning for lunch in school.

There is no cost for this trip but you will need to give your consent on ParentPay.

Yours sincerely,

Mrs N. Williams

(RE Coordinator)
