Our learning focus

Task 1 – Mathematics

• In Maths we will be learning about the place value of money amounts. We will round money amounts under £10 to the nearest £1 Also, we will be Multiplying and dividing money amounts by 10 and 100.

Task 2 – Literacy

• We will be focusing on poetry based on bonfire night and the rainforest. We will be writing poems using similes, adjectives and alliteration.

Task 3 – RE

We will be learning about the Holy Spirit and how it helps to guide us to make the right decisions. We will be writing prayers to ask the Holy Spirit to give you support when you feel like you need a friend.

Task 1 – Expressive Arts and Geography.

Draw/Design and make a rainforest model. What could you use from our natural/man-made environment? Think about the plants and layers e.g. emergent, canopy, understory, and forest floor. Can you label each of the layers?

Task 2 – Geography & Health and Wellbeing

Research fruit that grows in the Amazon rainforest. Design and make your own fruit salad.

Task 3 – Welsh

Practise having a simple conversation in Welsh using the welsh placemat on Seesaw. Record this and upload to Seesaw.
