Reminder – there is an INSET day on Monday 21^st October where school is closed to pupils.

 

Friends of St. Gabriel’s – Foundation Phase Disco: Thursday 24^th October 3:05-4:05pm

Please see your ParentPay account or ask in the school office if you do not have one to be able to book your tickets should your child wish to attend this event. Booking closes at 5pm on Monday 21^st October. As we are using the ParentPay system for payment now, this needs to be closed down prior to establishing numbers and this is why we are unable to safely add additional numbers in after the payment deadline. In this way we can ensure the appropriate staff ratios and first aid provision is in place to ensure the safety of all children at the event.

Section 50 RE Inspection

We have received notification of our Religious Education Inspection which will be taking place just after half term. Questionnaires for the inspection team will be going out today with one per family – please do check your child’s bag for this survey!

 

The Parent Meeting with the Inspection team is planned to take place on Monday 4^th November at 3:15pm. If you would like to attend this meeting but are unable to arrange child care, we will provide a crèche facility in school.

Aldi’s Kit for Schools – Update

We are only 40 stickers away from completing the chart!

Aldi’s Kit for Schools promotion is giving 20 primary schools the chance to win £20,000 to kick-start a health legacy for their school. By completing the Aldi’s Kit for Schools poster we will also receive an exclusive school sports kit!.

Stickers are given for every £30 spent in an Aldi shop –please let family and friends know that we would welcome them.
