Newsletter 19.05.20
Dear Parent/ Carer,
I first of all wanted to thank you for all your patience, support and understanding over the past few weeks as we’ve had to deal with the Covid-19 virus. I completely understand how difficult this time has been for everyone and the demands it places on us all, and I know how much we all want our children to be able to start back at school and for life to return to normal.
We have had to adapt to these changes and as you know have used Hwb as our primary source of home learning, and I hope that you have now had the time to get used to this platform and work out it’s many idiosyncrasies! I wanted to remind and reassure you that there is no expectation on you or your children to complete a certain amount of work each day or week. The home learning that the teachers have put together is there as a resource for you to use and they are available every school day to comment and respond to any work that is sent to them, and I thank them for all their hard work and dedication.
Please contact me if you have any concerns or queries as I am in school every day working in our hub
and am available on text and email, or can give you a ring if you need to speak on the phone. Have an enjoyable half-term, please turn off Hwb and put the home learning packs away and allow yourselves and your children to have a break and we all look forward to being able to see your children in school at some point as soon as possible.
Thank you, best wishes and take care of yourself and your family.
Mr J. Llewellyn
Interim Headteacher
